After reaching more than 1,500 communities, Counted Out will be available to audiences everywhere through its first-ever free virtual screening. The documentary explores how math, data, and algorithms shape opportunity, decision-making, and power—and why mathematical literacy matters in today’s technology-driven world.

The virtual screening will take place on August 8 at 1:00 PM (PT), followed by a live conversation with director Vicki Abeles and film participants Julia Angwin and Talithia Williams about staying informed and empowered in the age of AI.
